2011 OPA season right around the corner!

The 2011 Off Shore Powerboat Association season is right around the corner!

Following the roller coaster 2010 season that the MitiGator Powerboat experienced they were happy to see 2011 come around. In 2010 driver Warren Miller and throttle-man Al Colbertson captured the bookends by winning first and the last race of 2010. News is still coming in for the 2011 season, but the team has been hard at work and from the sound of it they will have their work cut out for them this year as three new teams have committed to run the 2011 OPA season. The team knows that the season will kick off June 3rd, but the venue is still being decided. Make sure you check back to this blog for the latest news and rumors for the 2011 season.

The MitiGator powerboat seats have been equipped with the MitiGator cushioning system. The MitiGator is designed to absorb and dissipate the energy from impacts and vibrations that are created from the rough seas. Driver Warren Miller accredited his win at Ocean City to the MitiGator working well enough to keep him focused on winning instead of how hard the boat was landing after crashing into the rough waves that the track is known for.
